Article in Country Homes and Interiors
This growing cat cottage industry was inspired by a love of cats
and the need for a kitchen doorstop! Metal ones weren't really suitable
as little children love stubbing their toes on them!
The only attractive soft doorstop were little triangles and rectangular
ones which did not seem heavy enough to keep the door open - so
out came the sewing machine and the fat cat doorstop was born.
They proved a great hit with family and friends who loved the shabby
chic and boho look, so more fat cats were made. After being featured
in Country Homes and Interiors, the response has been wonderful.
The theme was then extended after one lady asked if we could make
a cuddly toy instead of a doorstop. (never thought of that!!) needless
to say we did.The customer was delighted and so were we because
the cuddly cats outsell the doorstops!
Either way we are happy to provide cuddly cats or fat cat doorstops,
or if you require a cat for any other purpose we will try to oblige.
This is my wonderful FAT cat called chloe, who would not sit still for 5 mins.
